The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A new year brings some new changes!

First-
Changes to the award criteria they are now listed thus:

Application Criteria:
1. The individual members are responsible to apply for and in good faith ensure that they are eligible for these decorations.
2. Where "uniformed member" is specified, these decorations are reserved to those who serve in a recognized uniform and/or combat gear in the service of any international Colonial Marine Corps.
3. Where "member" is specified, these decorations are open to uniformed members as well as those who served as opposing force in the guise of a known and recognized extra-terrestrial.

What does this mean?

Most awards are now opened to any Giger (created or inspired by) Xenomorphs as well as Yautja (Predators). The biggest exceptions are:
1. Operations Merit
2. Colonial Marine Decoration
3. Multi-Force Decoration
4. Aid to the Civil Power Award

Second-
Marines, I proudly introduce to you the LV-426 Incident Silver Memorial Decoration.

Image

Awarded to a member who served at any drop, patrol or rescue operation during the course of the year 2011.

On that note, it's once again time for the yearly pledge drive! Your gift of one solitary dollar will help to pay and maintain my image host on which your ribbons are kept and updated.

Are you obliged? Absolutely not! Can you give more? I wouldn't take it! A single buck from all of you with ribbons will help to pay for the image hosting.

Feel generous? Paypal to cplbaldwin at hotmail.com

Thanks in advance for your generousity.

Yes there were 3 easy marine prey as they were poorly armed not a descent Pulse rifle between them... If I were there in Marine gear I could of taken my predator out. lol

OH and man im mainly a colonial marine but I have to say the predator suit is HOT make you sweat like crazy. Thought about a xeno but from what I understand there even hotter. Not to mention your nearly blind as either. I need to install camera in the bio or comething to give me full vision.

Been working on the pred suit for awhile trying to get everything working. All I need is 1 more servo, and a animatronic wrist blade gauntlet and ill be fully automated. And maybe a sound module for clicks and some reverbed words.

Yes, however, there are no ribbon updates until the pledge drive is over. We are at 16% of our goal.

16%? Wow, seems like it's coming on strong. How long till the drive ends, Sergeant?

Sorry, no updates until the pledge drive is over. It hasn't been terribly successful this year.

Marines, we are only $7 short of our yearly pledge drive! Maybe it's the bad economy, but by this time last year, we had already reached our target in January.

Just need seven more of you to throw a buck my way, so dig deep!
