The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi Dom

That's great thanks bud. Thanks for sorting these out, we all appreciate it.

Could I get expeditionary medal x 4 please, assuming it's retrospective. If not then just one for this year please.
I already had my combat action ribbon for Leicester updated after the event.

Cheers

Darren

Any medal can be awarded retroactively, but keep in mind that this one can be only awarded once per each calendar year.

Hi Dom

Thanks bud. The four expeditionary awards are all for the Alien Encounter. One per year, so I guess the four would stand, cheers

I got confused about what the combat action ribbon was so I guess it would be 4 x combat action as well please mate.

Cheers

Darren

Awarded to Colonial Marine Corps personnel who are deployed to engage in operations against hostile opposition to come to the aide of non-combatant personnel. Awarded in conjuction with the Combat Action Ribbon.

In plain English, anyone who’s participated in a dramatized event which involves the rescuing of a person or persons, be they actors or not, in a film or convention (as part of a colony sweep) or any other organized event.

Hehehe that's pretty cool, I did the 2008 sweep in P-5000 operator garb but I was only active as part of the press corps(i was the one videotaping it) for 2009.

As for 2011, hehehe I think you'll have to come up with a whole new badge for what I have in store :P

Again, if you're applying for the Exp. Medal, you qualify for the CAR Medal. Apply for both. I won't be chasing after people for what ribbons you need, it's the individual's responsibility to apply for the appropriate medals.

Some guy's building a 1:1 APC for the parade, so you have your work cut out for you.

There's no multiples for this one. Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Hi Dom, hopefully this is right:

2 x London (Expo, CM10)

Also, the 100+ miles for the hypersleep bronze - does that have to be one way, or round trip?

Can I donate my ribbons to the memory of a good friend, killed in action by those nasty Xenos?
Ellner was a good man, nobody deserves to die like that... Eaten from within by a horrible creature :(

Rob, Sean Camp has never applied for a Combat Action Ribbon, so I don't understand how he could qualify for the Expeditionary Medal. Please elaborate.

The only way you can upgrade this ribbon is if you go soil your feet in France, or travel to another country, or better yet, another continent.
