The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Supplies for the effort sent via Paypal. We forgot to put a note on it to clarify but that's what it is. Now what "effort" you use it for is up to you. Hosdting-smosting, getting drunk is probably a better use of the funds imho ;)

That's why I budget for them. The meat and vodka diet has worked for me so far.

Wait... there was a Los Angeles ribbon, so, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

As for the ACM launch, I'm thinking of another ribbon and here's something a little more broad spectrum:

Image
The Colonial Marine Corps Recruiting Ribbon recognizes those service members who have completed a successful recruiting drive by being present for the purposes of promoting the Colonial Marine Corps, in uniform, at an event, where a civilian population normally congregates.

Thanks Dom!

Sergent, I would like to put in for ribbons. I have a bushel full of ribbons from my time in Army ROTC. I have my old rack here, and it looks like they changed/retired some of the ribbons so I will just have to guess if they are allowed as part of the Colonial Marines. Do awards such as expert quals count?
The highest ROTC award I was awarded was the Society of American Military Engineers:
http://www.txsgair.org/DAFAB/RIB/OrgAwa ... 2asame.gif (SAME Bronze Metal Award)
If I am allowed to include other ROTC awards (like Deans list, ect) I can figure them out too....

Colonial Marine Awards
Multi Force Decoration

I'm trying to get a better understanding of this-

So by "civilian population" do you mean "non-costumers" in general? For instance a convention like D-Con has several "costumed" attendees, however something like a gamer convention (or movie premiere) would not.

In other words an event where the majority of people attending would normally "not" wear a costume= civilian?
