The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That's a really nice photo. It's kinda weird to see it all clean and orderly.

Totally unrelated to blueprints, but those gray elongated wall panels used as set dressing behind the screen are the same ones used in the air duct Dallas crawls through in Alien, and also used at various times on the Starbug set for Red Dwarf, I believe.
Jeez, I’ve been staring at these colonies and spaceships for far too long.

...which leads me to another point, if anyone is still looking for that floorgrate that was used for the colony corridors, maybe it's worth checking out if the same grate was used for the Red Dwarf sets, as you may be able to find out what it was by researching that angle instead.

From memory I think Red Dwarf used a slightly modified & up to date version of the pallets; I use the same version as bases for my mannequins when I display the collection.

A couple of further progress pics. Thanks to some info here from another member who's name at the moment I cannot mention (thank you!), some of the text around the landing grid has been identified. Still no further on some of the other text though so if anyone has further info let us know!

You're quite right...
Single, living alone.

I'd never get away with decorating like that otherwise. :D

Haven't got the correct Weyland Yutani font yet on it. 8)
This is as far as I can go on it until we sort out the other text and Bugstomper gives some comments / feedback.
Cheers!

What can I say - you did a fantastic job!
Haven't come anywhere near that as I can't find good pictures of the "machinery" areas of the AP-Station. I really hope the blue ray version will show some more details.

Nevertheless, here a quick composite:
