Righty then! I spoke to one of my regulars at S8, who works at a printing firm, and he's quoted me for a 6' by 4' banner... If we want plasticised paper, £30 - £45. If we want near-indestructible vinyl... £150 - £160. How does that compare to quotes we've had from elsewhere? Seems not too bad to me ( Hell, I'd even consider having one done just for the 'Wall if you Scots lads would be up for chipping in? ) Thoughts? |

Did someone say large scale printing? Are you sure those prices aren't per metre? I'm not sure I could even buy the materials for that first quote. |

I think getting one for the wall crew would be a good idea mate. If and when we ever get one down here it would be a pain to keep passing it around and would probably impact it's life expectancy as well. I say go for it mate. Cheers Darren |

Just one thought, regardless of who's having one made, 6' x 4' is a large banner! Fine if your display is always up against a wall where it can be hung up but if you're not it's too deep to hang on the front of a table! |

Banners on the front of tables are kind of pointless in my opinion anyway since as soon as a few people are in front of your table no one can see it anyway. Ideally you need at least two banners. One landscape that can be put on the wall behind the table if there is one and one portrait that can be stood up next to the table ( on a pop up stand probably) that way you should always have something that is generally visible Cheers Darren |

Generally, the front of my table has a framed Pulse Rifle print, and the poster advertising them leaning against it  I am the king of ghetto-stands, be they for costumes or banners Poundland mops + gaffa FTW! |

I can take a crack... it won't have any fancy drawings that troon can do, but I can make it look good enough. Just need some suggestions on content, layout, etc and what exactly we want the lettering to say. |

My standard print costs are £40 a metre at 40" wide. But I can probably fudge that a little. No idea what vinyl costs are as not had to buy any in a long time. And as for the stands I can do them as well but once again, not sure on pricing right now. If people want to get some prices I'm more than willing. |

Dunno if this is any help but I was in my local Staples recently and they do the pull up tall type banners that Harry mentioned for £59 according to their in-house print centres price list. I think that price includes the stand! Might be worth investigating. |
