Nobody checking the Alien War myspace?

they stated a while back that they'd be cancelling Alien War London, and going "Back to a well-known venue".

Given that they also stated "We will be open in London in April 2007", I don't exactly take the Myspace as gospel, but word's reached me from some otuer sources that the Arches might well be going ahead... In one form or another.

The mystical entity that is Alien War 2006 ... 2007 ... 2008? ...2009? has changed my life more fundamentally than anything else. Admittedly, despite it causing me to end up living in my third most hated city (London, after Dundee and Coventry), I have to admit it has changed my life mostly for the better.

As Scapey said, it might happen in "one form or another", but that form might no be quite what we are all wishing for; I won't be moving again to Glasgow for it.

That made me laugh out loud.

Got an email from Gary yesterday, asking me ( After a bit of confusion over the date ) to spread the word:

Open auditions at The Arches, in Glasgow, this coming Monday the 3rd of November from 7pm.
