OK troops.. Please go to http://colonialmarines.co.uk and check out your entry under your unit. Check you are happy with your photo entry and your current rank. If you believe your rank is wrong please pm me and I will get it sorted. After this point promotions will be more structured with defined parameters... but will be just as crap as before. I have a few... plans... for future events

Let me know!!

List of requirements for promotion will be posted shortly, along with an announcement of promotions from the previous two drops.

Note... this is all A BIT OF FUN AND IS IN NO WAY TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!! Anybody found taking this seriously will be busted down to pellet without legal recourse or chance of appeal! :D

UKCM HQ.

End of line.

What's the score on becoming a junior rupert?

I've got a tasty Gorman setup almost done and think I'll be using that at most drops from now on... I think I could pull off a scared junior rupert better than a hardened veteran marine or NCO. :p

I would add that the number of pics on the Bioweapons division roster is disappointing given that you guys are meant to be photowhores!! Pick out your fave pictures and send them to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

All UKCM members that want a image beside their entry in the list please find a good picture of yourself that can be cropped into a 80x80 pixel head & shoulder shot.

And Harris! What's your service number?

That's up to the Fish. However, I should point out that the rank patches you wear on your costume do not have to relate to your actual UKCM rank.

If you want Lt. patches on your Gorman costume then go for it. But it doesn't mean you get an automatic promotion!!! And we get to treat you like you always were an arsehole ....

Happy days.

See, I would have equated a 2Lt to a PVT, and an Lt to a PFC, Cpt to a CPL and so on moving up the scale, but I guess that's not how the UKCM rank structure works. :)

EDIT:

Which reminds me G... you can bust that northern bloke down to Sergeant, you know the one, the one in the bin bag... and he’s lucky to have three stripes. Lieutenant... not in my Corps!

After all... if he wants to be a UKCM Lt. he will have to have his own table, a corn cob up his arse and no friends... so for Simon to be promoted to Lt. all we need is a table!!

So...

I keep getting those UKCM shirts everytime I show up for en event...

Does that mean I'm UKCM? And if so, why am I not in that list?? :P

Note that I'm not actually asking to be a member. I've always felt quite at ease on the sidelines, I'm happy with being friend of the UKCM, really. It's just that I'm getting somewhat confused signals!

And I'm easily confused...

Technically, shouldn't I be in the Hadrian Wallers, then? I mean, I do live in Ireland, at least for the next few months...

Not that the notion of being the mighty Teckno Viking's squadmate isn't appealling - for one thing, he makes a fabulous meat shield and bullet soaker!

But somehow I don't trust that rupert...

Pfff. Who am I kidding? I don't trust ANY ruperts.

Surely the Auld Alliance counts for something... 42nd Regt. all the way, you crazy Frenchman!

Mind you, you'd then have to put up with my rupert impression.

How do you feel about this one, Harry?

You've got that "Joan of Arc being chatted up by the Archangel" look about you, I think!

(And I can get better quality, only from home later today, sorry).
