The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Are you just collecting names of the UK folks who will be there, or do you want everyone?

If it's the latter, you can put me down as a smartgunner.

Sixty can wear his secret costume if he wants. It's really similar to USCm Armor, most people won't know the difference!

And I'll be in the parade as well, as the "angry, hung over guy looking for a place to vomit".

Ohh well if you're including 'everyone' you can add about 30 names to the list right now.

MANTROON - Place for Spat to Vomit!!
PUG50 - ABE
BURNTKONA - MARINE
CHYRSE - MARINE
SIXTY - Kinky fetish costume
CHEESEMASTER - LT or MARINE
SKAPUNK - MARINE/PRED
OUTCRY - SMARTGUNNER
SPAT - angry, hung over guy looking for a place to vomit
FAL - MARINE
CPLTONY - MARINE

But to be honest any USCM style costume is welcome.
We've had marines, SG'ers, pilots and officers etc.

I wasn't sure if Herr Troon wanted to know what everyone from our motley band was wearing, or just those who would be appearing as USCM / Aliens types...

I'll see what happens when I get there. :)

SPAT - angry, hung over guy looking for a place to vomit
FAL - MARINE
CPLTONY - MARINE
CLANGERTOO - DROPSHIP PILOT

Luckily the pilot flightsuit is quite thin material so should be able to do the parade in that.

My second costume, 'Angus', will have to stay in the confines of a air conditioned hotel, or he might pass out! :)

Now that I have this flag bearer thing in mind, I can't help but think that no armour in Atlanta heat = teh win.
I don't do well in the heat.

Well, fortunately, the parade is in the morning so the heat won't be as oppressive as it could be. Last year, if I recall correctly, it was actually pretty nice out.

Dont you guys know its a dry heat here in Atlanta??

Its not so bad...youll sweat your ass off for about two hours...1.5 hours getting lined up and .5 hours in the actual parade....

But Im sure since its always cold and rainy in the UK you guys might have never sweat before..hehe..
Poor Fal was sweating buckets the first year he came over..almost enough to replenish our lakes we use for drinking supply

Is that "dry heat" in Altlanta anything like Baton Rouge. hehe.

You know funny thing about the Deep South, when I was getting ready to move back up north here didn't think I would miss it that much, man was I wrong.

Oh, you're wrong there. It's just that as soon as the sun shows even a little bit, they all go around in T-shirts, with deeply red complexions and sweaty faces, complaining about the horrible heat... while visitors from more reasonable, temperate places still enjoy the comfort of sweaters and jackets, like normal people should, and think longingly about that which remains a mystery to the inhabitants of the British Isles: summer! 8)

It's quite funny, really.

I remember going to see a friend in California a few years ago. I was sitting in the garden with a beer reading the paper about midday and as I looked up my friend and his housemates were at the kitchen window with that 'What the hell is the crazy Englishman doing?!' look on their faces!
