The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Don't we also have a damsel in distress this time to rescue from a fate of being covered in alien goo this year? ;)

As long as the bug hunt doesn't require screen accurate costuming, I'm up for helping out.

Hi Sandy,

What you thinking of wearing?

You know a Starfleet Captain won't look right chasing around after Xeno's!!!

Well, maybe it would actually!!! :P

While not having to be as strict as the Alien Encounter, paid attraction and all that, we still need to maintain a certain level of believabilty.

Cheers,

Andy

How about 'Official Marine Photgrapher'

Then any sort of military costume could be utilised.

Cheers,

Andy.

Oh yeah, I forgot that Pauls is in charge of the rota and it'll really be up to him how we are all sliced and diced on the day!!!

Doing Rota's is a very frustrating and pain in the butt thing to do!

Trying to make sure everything is covered and everyone is happy is fricking impossible.

I had 10 years of doing it for our charity Star Wars Days for the Exewing and I am soooooooooo glad I'm not doing this one!!! :P

Andy

Starfleet??? Did somebody mention Starfleet???

Any of that Trek nonsense and you're all out!!!

If anybody would like the story of the meeting from hell with the people who wanted us to "donate" the NSC to them for a Trek convention, buy me a beer, it is a very funny story!

For the record: I'll be wearing armour, just DPM underneath instead of BDUs

Y'know, I've always thought DPM looked miles better under M3 armour than squashed and recoloured ERDL...

You'll be more of a UKCM than we will be! Let's face it, the way MoD procurement works, we'll still be using DPM in two hundred years time.

don't knock it. DPM is reknowned worldwide for its effectiveness.

Teere has been three patterns of it. 75, 85 and 95 pat. All of them look similar but have their differences. The overall effect is the same.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

As it is, I'll be a Hadrians Wall Infantryman Medic.
Who says there are no infantry in the future?
