The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello all,

I just loaded this up on the UKCM costuming page. With the sci-fi weekend only 4 weeks away and lots of new people being in Marine gear, I did some research of the various laws concerning replica weapons in public places.

These are just some suggestions and mostly just plain old common sense, but it never hurts to mention.

Anyways, hope this helps people out.

A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally I'd mud wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock, and a sack of French porn.

A note on language...
The marines we're dressing as use some harsh words on occasion...:)
At any event where there could be minors I'd suggest toning it down. At least until the pub later that evening..:)
Think BBC rather than DVD.. That doesn't mean you, Lewis..:)

And Aliens.. Watch those tongues..;)
