My very good friend Angela has just informed me that there are some issues with travel to Wembley Park underground (tube) station which are also likely affect travel to the upcoming event. Thanks Angela.
According to the
London Underground website there are the following delays today (24th October) which will probably be the same for the weekend of the event. Do check for regular updates though.
Jubilee Line (grey): No service between Neasden and Stanmore.
Rail replacement bus service 'A' will operate between Neasden and stamore calling at all stations. Journey times may be increased by up to 40 minutes. If you're coming from central London this is only one stop from Neasden to Wembley Park.
Also:
Metropolitan Line (purple): All weekend, no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate. So the only way to get there on the underground is to get the Jubilee line to Neasden and then a bus to Wembley Park station and walk from there as usual.
The
London Film & Comic Con website has alternative travel information
here.
You can download underground maps
here.
