The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This is just a quick heads up, this event is a ways off yet, so just posting here to see if there's any interest. Will post a drop thread a little nearer the time (unless someone beats me to it).

Feel the Force Day are after costumers to attend this years event again.

This is a one of a kind event, designed specifically for people with disabilities.

Event takes place at the Kingsgate Conference Centre, Peterborough on Sat the 6th of October.

Changing area is provided, along with refreshments and lunch.

Website can be found here https://www.feeltheforceday.com/

Any persons interested in attending need to register at the following link and post pics of them in costume, along with their weapons (if you've attended before and have already signed up, just make sure your details are up to date ). https://1stsensorylegion.com/register/

Questions about the event can be asked at the following Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/819562831537969/

Bearing in mind the event is designed specifically for people with diabilities, people who are blind or visually impaired may ask to touch your costume (hence the "feel the force" name).

With regards to weapons, so long as you post pics of your weapons and have them checked by staff on site everything should be fine. In any case, Pulse Rifles, Flame Throwers and Smart Guns should be OK as they are not actual weapons. Though full metal airsoft VP-70s "may" cause a slight problem. So I'll be bringing my resin one.

I attended last year along with Marie (Bethor's Lady) who alternated between Predator Huntress and Drop ship pilot.

Expect to see familiar faces from other clubs. I know some of UK Preds attended last year.
