The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi Guys,

As the title says..Im after information on the Shoulder Lamp Swivel Arm anf front plate. Were these taken from another items or was it made.

Ive managed to get hold of a Reflecta 3002 lamp and I'm looking to make the shoulder lamp with as may original parts as possible.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Andy (Retro) :delta:

The swivel arm has never been identified as far as im aware, not sure which part the front plate would be.
Chef does great shoulder lamp kits and he will sell the parts individually as the arm is all i need for my real part shoulder lamp build!

Hey guys I’m new on here and have a question! I would be grateful if anyone could help me out! I‘m building up my own shoulder lamp with the original parts and I already cut out the 7th fin but I need the front plate what comes at the top of the lamp the one part what you screw onto the fins at the end with the round cut off in the center plus the swivel arm! Thank you so much in advance

Hi, welcome to the forum. I recently made my lamp out of genuine parts but i made the front plate out of tin and flanged the sides in a vice. The arm has never been identified but you can get a decent replica from chefs creations here in the U.K.

Heres my shoulder lamp build if you haven't already seen it

Thank you so much Stimpy I just messaged him ...thanks for the info and I love your lamp buddy looks phenomenal! I also have 2 Reflecta and the Vega lamps all I need is now to obtain somehow an intruder alarm! There is maybe someone here who would like to trade one for a never been used new Racal minilite headset! It has all paperwork and is still in his blue leather bag!
