There's no real formal application, but join in on here, come along to some events and that's really all you need.

You can apply for a service number here if you want:

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5925

and join the charter here:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14393

But that's about it. :)

Is there a lower age limited to join UKCM?

Author:  Pug50 [ Wed Jan 28, 2015 12:06 pm ]
Post subject:

Nope, but the rules & regs (READ HERE) includes:
Quote:
Members Under 18 years of age.

UKCM accepts members under the age of 18, however they must be accompanied by a Parent and/or Guardian at all times.

And, as you experienced at the Christmas do, it's up to the parent to decide how much of the UKCM experience is suitable for their kids ... :D

OKdoke. Bear in mind that AL is separate to the UKCM.

Again, there is no lower age limit, but AL typically permits "appropriate"/"justified" profanity in posts, and material that aligns with the 18-certificate movies we discuss here.

What about the hazing Paul put me thru? He told me all UKCM had to go thru the trials. I knew he was lying to me.

Thanks!

Greg

Hi Folks,

Met some of you at WLFCC at Earl's Court last year. I'm a friend of Kris Kobus and a huge fan of Aliens ever since the film came out. I'm also part of the Brit-Cit Judges and I am currently costuming in a Brit-Cit Concept build costume.

I'm hopefully attending LSCC in two weeks and will hopefully meet you again.

best regards

Mike Thompson

I guess we are hijacking this thread for introductions

Hi I'm Jay, I'm leicester based and was pointed this way by a Viking with a Xenomorph fetish.

I met some of you at the Space Centre in October.

Kind of hoping to get a basic build together for Alien at the Space Centre in Juły

Pretty much Phil. Just come over and see us at an event. We don't have costume clearance rules or anything like that.
