The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey Marv!

Welcome along! It was great to meet you at Wyntercon!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your marine, should be a laugh! If you get stuck or need advice just post it up! Every one here is really helpful!

Morning Marv.

Welcome aboard.

Good luck with the build. There's plenty of resource out there if you need it. Just shout up. If you're building it yourself, are you going down the "Pep" route?

Keep us posted!

Rob.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.
I have all the files on my pc and have a friend that is really experianced in making costumes and armour so thankfully i wont be doing the build on my own lol.
As for my twists i am basicly going to do my a British colonial marine about 15 years after the film was set am thinking slight updates in the armour and helmet etc.

I do like the idea of an updated marine. Little design tweaks.

Hi Marv,

I'm also new to this site and local to you (Hailsham). I work in Hastings.

I've started my costume recently & will be trying to make my armour from pepakura.

Give us a shout if I can be of any help.

Paul
