The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

LOL not that queen, the Alien Queen (the bitch herself) and when I say Freddy will hold my hand I mean my Facehugger friend Freddy Face Fu%ker (FFF). He has came with me to my last couple of drops and even joined us Marines in the bar for a drink or two  I think Coop's got a good photo of him drinking at Geekfest.

well my tattoo is still on going with one more trip to my tattooist to put the last of the details in and whist not a UKCM tattoo it is Aliens based.
It is a cover up of a crappy panther I got when I was very young and a little drunk which you can see below.

I decided to get the queen from a image I found on line and liked the look off so took it to my local tattoo artist who turned out to be a Sci-Fi fan himself as well as going to a lot of con's himself. Gavin from "The Monkey's Paw" in Bury St Edmunds has done a great job to cover it.

the surround was all free hand and is still to be finished and some touch ups on colour need to be finished but I think its a great job and will put a finished item pic up at the end.

There is a tattooist in Ottery st Mary, about 5 minutes away. He's very good and highly recommended but he does charge £60 a hour

That's about the high end of the going rate for a good artist TBH, and whilst the UKCM logo is quite simple, it's got some thin lines so you don';t wanna go to a less-than-good artist for it!
Likely looking at about £30 - £40 for it at that price IIRC, think mine was about a half hour - 45 mins job.

That's not bad - I paid £60 an hour for mine 10 years ago!

Don't have any way to get hold of Lisa, but if not I can just get Mother to do it for me when I'm home next week. £60 is reasonable though.
