Hi guys and girls

I spoke with Scapey before posting this just to check if it was ok.

This could be quite a big one, one of our events team (from the 99th garrison) has been asked by a guy called
Allan Dobson (this dude has is responsible for organising the series of "salute to heros concerts" in the north east in support of the ABF the last event being The Sage in gateshead)
to help him organise a large sci fi event at the Sedgefield Race Course (hopefully the 1st anual event) with as many branches of the sci fi tree as possible (I can confirm the presence of the 99th Garrison)

Currently they are still sorting their budget with the hope of getting a number of actors from the sci fi universe to apear, however they have already confirmed Brian Muir as a guest speaker.

so knowing that I am constantly on the AL forum he has asked me to get in touch to see if you guys would like to do a drop there.

Date:
Saturday May 4th 2013 (so a fair bit of notice)

Location is:
Sedgefield Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Sedgefield, Stockton-on-Tees,
TS21 2HW

I will update as soon as anymore info is available

I`m helping crew for a few 99th G`s (always nice to have a Group in your back yard) later this month and Dec.

Damn straight I`ll be interested in doing this too.

Could dust off the Marine BDUs for this.
I`ll see what I can do with a few friends of other SCIFI too ;)
