For those British members, I work for the company Games Workshop. I paint miniatures, and tend to do them rather well, tho I am not the greatest painter in store. Another thin I do quite well is weaponary. My living history group only uses deactivated or blank-firing original weapons as personal arms, but the units' Lewis Gun is a replica (as it costs about £3000 to get a deac or live firer). So, ours arrived completely black. Here are a few pics.

The woodwork, I am especially proud of. The varnished stock is COMPLETELY painted on by myself. It's not wood that's been varnished, it was me

I have also done realistic leather/wood work on straight razors that come with modern plastic handles.
I am NOT the guy holding it, btw, I'm the ugly dude beside Fraser
I would be willing to paint up Pulse Rifles for any UKCM that wished me to do so, for VERY reasonable price. I tend to do large-drybrush technique, but can also do limited airbrush with hand-brush detailing. Very few to no brush marks left. As a mad sci-fi geek, I would be willing to do this for a very reasonable price. Basically, price of postage to me and back, price of materials, an most likely an average of 5 quid an hour of work. I work fast. The Lewis Gun took about 6 hours.
This offer is obviously for guys who aren't confident with their own skills.
Now, I don't expect to charge an arm and a leg - i am good, not amazing. Also, I would expect postage up front, material cost up front, BUT IF the recipeint is unhappy with the work, I would obviously waive the work charge.
I have also worked on full-size Halo and Killzone figures, botht he models ANd their weaponry, for several computer game shops on Union street in Glasgow.
If anyone would be interested, get in contact. Also, go to Games Workshop Glasgow on Facebook and you can see some of my other work
