The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi All,

Not In the Drop section as its more a question of seeing if anyone is available before committing.

Have received the following:

Quote:
Hi Marines!

This may seem an unusual request, but I have a close friend who is getting married on 31/05/18. He is an absolute enthusiast and ALIENS nut (as I am too!). The venue is around Milton Keynes / Bedford area. I was wondering if any of you guys may be available for a 'guest appearance' at all? I would perhaps only be looking for a couple of guys or so (or whoever you can spare!) and would be very grateful if you could get in touch with your thoughts here. It would mean so much to him if you could attend!!

As a fellow 're-enactor' (we do WW2 U.S living history events with English Heritage amongst others, both all over the U.K and into Europe), I know how much we like to show off our hobby! Indeed you never know - there may well be a couple of potential recruits among us?! Needless to say however, I need to keep this request quiet as it would be a great surprise for everyone at the wedding!

With the above in mind, I would very much welcome a response from you at the earliest possible opportunity. Any ideas or thoughts you may have would be fantastic.

If anyone is interested in attending, please let me know - looks to be in the afternoon. If I can find anyone available, i can firm up details.

Jade, I still need to check work schedule - but if I can do this, I could conceivably lend you some armour...

Sweet. Ive noticed if more identifiable marines are around the pilots become identifiable.

I suspect the same is true with officers. Hmm if I get a job straight away I can use my redundancy money right?
