The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Guys, we're gonna have to move fast on this - there's a little over two weeks left to get this done.

You know your group better than I do so I need suggestions and a consensus!

Can we have this thread moved to the Ready Line until we're done?

Pricing for print (A2 size) is going to be around £290 GBP for 250 copies - unless you can source it any cheaper... Obviously, I can't front-up that kind of cash so we'll need to talk about how we're going to fund this collectively.

:)

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I can obtain single run posters for around £15 each - what if we just had one printed and then maybe assess interest?...

On the other hand, there's always the 'impulse buy' factor... ;)

Still need that pic of Harry...

No problem at all. :)

I'm happy to pick up the cost of the one-off - just need to get it done! Any input?

Guys - we need to finalise this thing soon if we're to have any chance of getting it printed and delivered by the 3/4th.

My advice would be to add 'concept design' somewhere on the poster so that folk realise it's not finalised artwork yet.

There's also the small matter of the 10 Pulse Rifle posters I promised - who shall I send them too? I may still not be able to make it on the Sat. :)

Personally I would drop the NSPCC specific line and just put the donation link. I dont know if the charity will change ay any time in the future but if so then that would negate the need to redo these if a run is made of them.

Cheers

Looks great, although I don't think I like the 3D effect on the text so much.

it'd be nice to see www.alienslegacy.com on there as well, under www.colonialmarines.co.uk maybe?

I hadn't noticed the lettering actually. I just checked back and see that it has changed since the last version. I think the previous version was better tbh as well.

I think the Legacy address would be a good idea too.

Cheers

Just my personal opinion

I would drop comline, gateway station bit

rase up the www.colonialmarines.co.uk and put the AL address underneath

Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, how's this looking?... I feel that it's important to have some text that describes the charity link - otherwise folk might think it's the UKCM web address.

I'll need some larger files for the UKCM Lion Patch (not much bigger) - can anyone help with that?
