The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Oioi all!!

Spent yesterday (between beers) with Munkey on D*Con prep. Looks like one of my leg guard clips has gone walkies. Before i trouble the "all powerful" super-suit himself, does anybody have a spare male spring-clip that i can nick. These appear to be unique to the leg guard and not the same as all the rest.

I know i can use one i have but the half that is still attached has no play on it and it will mean drilling and replacing the strap as well!

Free hugs and kisses if you can help!

Just keep in mind that almost every clip maker's clips don't fit other clips. So even if you asked for a replacement, what I send you probably wouldn't help. I use different suppliers for almost all my clip orders based on who is selling them cheaper at the time.

Right, no luck Baz.

But as Spat stated he's right. Just have alook on e-bay which states the sizes. I'm not smart with Spats armour since i don't have mine yet.

But i would just track down a new female to male connection.

Sure it will be cheap and easy enough to replace.

Cheers

Callum

As Spat has said no two makers of these clips will be the same and will not fit each other.. if your going to replace the whole clip, let me know Baz as i got a few loose ones laying about.. :)

Actually Baz, the easiest thing to do is to just throw the armor in the bin and buy a whole new set.

I would do Spat... but my usual supplier has gone all "corporate" and now flies a desk while pushing a pencil around aimlessly and occasionally annoying celebrities

Thanks for the advice guys, and for the offers. I have spare clips here, just wanted to avoid replacing both half's if i could. Oh well... MUNKEY... GET THE DRILL OUT!

ITS HAMMER TIME!

I no longer require Spats bit! We are replacing it with a Hammer Drill, cheese wire, duct tape and a "cheep" black Taiwanese import.

Oh, and we have sorted the clip as well. :D
