I'm looking into some RUC ones at the mo, waiting to hear back confirming sizes etc..

'Royal Ulster Constabulary Officer's Peak cap, complet with black Queens Crown cap badge, red cloth behind. Mostly size 57
Condition: excellent'

Is £25 plus postage a reasonable price?

Speaking of Service C cover/cap....I'm looking for 7 3/8 or 7 1/2 size.
A few of TheBay but very few in my size.

Anyone have a source? Only ones I've found over here are over $100

I got a 60cm - 7 1/2" US - 7 3/8" UK cap, but it too big for me. I paid £10 for the cap or I will trade for the cap I want + Shipping.

I want a 57cm - 7 1/8" US - 7" UK or 58cm - 7 1/4" US - 7 1/8" UK.

There's a size 7 at my local army surplus for £20. It's too small for my head, but I can pick it up if it will fit anyone.

UKCM Black ops

Not sure about the RUC caps but the cap that Bri has seems to be slightly oversized. He's got a 64cm (7 7/8) head but the cap is only a 61cm (7 1/2). It's a little tight but I cut out half of the sweatband and it sits OK on his head now.

I have a 56cm (6 7/8) head and my garrison cap is 22" and yet it's too small for me.

The point I'm trying to make is that you really need to try the hats on rather than just going by size.

Well the shirt turned up today , so don't have time to alter the collar , so will sew on patches as it is , have found a pair of black trousers which , will do for Saturday night , Not SA dress uniform but will do for one night !

The layout for the shirt is as follow.

Dropship badge
Pewer - If been to an drop but without any costume but have helped in spotting.
Sliver - If been to any drop in costume, but USCM or UKCM outfit.
Gold - If you are lucky to have them!!!!!
These are placed above the ribbons on the left chest above the "USCM" or "UKCM" patch.

Ribbons
This will show what drops and the number of them you have done. These are placed above the "USCM" or "UKCM" patch.

Rank
This will be placed on the left sleeve at bottom in the standard green/gold that is same as the ones on the BDU's.

Patches
The screaming eagle or roaring lion is on the right sleeve
The US or UK flag is on the top left sleeve
The USS Sulaco Ship Patch, Nimbus Ship Patch, Valhalla Ship Patch & Hadrians Wall Ship Patch on the left pocket.
The Name patch is above the right pocket, this should the same lenght as the pocket.
The "USCM" or "UKCM" patch is above the left pocket, this should the same lenght as the pocket.

Cord
This is a extra bit for the UKCM service C.
Blue is for Aircrew
Green/gold is for Command Officer of a Squad (Squad Leader)
Green is the rank of SGT
Gold is the rank or SSGT
Red/gold is the rank of Master SGT

OK the UKCM patches you can get from Bruce.

The dropship pins you can get from Mike Rush.

Rank patches you can get from e-bay but get the gold/green Merrowed Edge Rank, Measures ( 3" X 3 7/8" ).

The Cord is from Sabra sales but Rich is sorting out the colours so I guess I will get a list sorted here.

The ribbons are from the USA @ http://www.paradestore.com/ but it not cheap as my set cost me $74.20. Get the stainless steel mount bar with no spacing.

ooo thanks! i was told at NSC but kept forgetting :B

Please speak to MSgt Rich on help getting the cap and trousers as Sabra Sales sell them.

Also the rank patches for the UKCM are the same for the BDU's uniform Gold strips with Green boarder.

The cords idea never took off.
