The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi guys just thought id show you my scratch build foam armour, im aware of its shortcomings when it comes to screen accuracy but was over all happy with it. Ive included some pics i got from cardiff comic con where i met some of your number and one i believe now to be called "bugstomper". Be gentle lol,....Also at the convention my brother wore my colonial marine arm our so that isnt me wearing it in that pic im wearing the kasrkin armour from warhammer 40k (the fully helmeted one)

the main body is EVA foam with clip and straps. im aware the butt plate is larger than life...but i got a big butt lol.

the helmet is a plastic m40 helmet with resin camera kit, and the earpiece i made using sintra and a set of ampli vox i never handed back when i left the Army. The lobster tails are sintra back with foam and the ridges are poly morph plastic.

the cod piece is simply a sheet of foam with added details and sintra plates ( my least favourite part of the armour)

the shin guards are eva foam and workmens knee pads.

the camouflage is current british army MTP again another item i seemed to have "misplaced" when i de kitted lol.

love the build.being a massive 40k fan myself your las gun and armour rocks and i would love to see more of that build.being a lazy bugger these days and one or two mishaps called life....dont ask! i recently purchased my way back in to aliens stuff but my hat goes off to anyone who puts the time and effort into anything that looks and is just damn cool.as for screen accurate most people bar the nut bags who eat sleep and inhale this stuff just are happy to have some fun.i like urban camo and that isnt accurate by a long shot its just personal choice.

I was just curious, I remember a few years ago watching a bunch of drama on Youtube when Anonymous took on Scientology (really freaky stuff btw from the documentaries on XenuTv and other stuff I've watched).
