The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That folder doesn't list any detailed information like what you are asking for.

The only thing I know about the costumes that is not very well known is that the plastic backpacks were made by Simon Atherton.

They should cite where they take their photos from. Also needs an editor.

I would hope that the next time there is an obvious real item on eBay that is posted here, that the forum rules would be followed and the post would be removed. If this rule is not going to be followed there is no point in it remaining.

Where did you get the photo with the character shot from the back and the 'animal' on the helmet? Have been looking for that for some time.

I can understand why it was done but painting the shroud green on this gun is a little 'awkward'. Do we really dislike Alien 3 that much?

This sold in Juliens a few months ago. It's held up very well over the years. You would have to be a die hard fan with lots of space to want to own it.

I remember this being a teaser on one of the UK Alien Video releases, circa 1993.

As far as I am concerned there is no difference between copying a picture or moulding a prop, if you are unhappy with your purchase you can always ask for a refund.

maxhebus: no I'm not and he probably wouldn't be, wouldn't hurt to ask though.

The original owner of them is propworld.nu, he still has the opposite side. The front and bottom photos were sold to a forum member many years ago before I had a chance to scan them.

There were three other Bapty photos, one of the opposite side, one looking at the underside of the grenade launcher and another from the front. Those have never been reproduced.

Looks like the paint flaked off these during shooting. In some of the photos the rectangle pattern is missing or they look like circles, probably due to being painted multiple times.

The pallets that go off to the side hallways in the Sentry Gun photo look like the ones used at the London Film Con. They have a different pattern.

#1 allows room for the strap to hang within the display area.

How close are you to the actual floor pattern?

Does anyone know if there is a list of exactly what is brand new material for each of the films?

I watched some of the 'making of' each movie and it is mostly what was on the quadrilogy.
